As Vindekar said, best thing is to build the foundations first then place the gate ontop of it, the other way round you have to place foundations or pillars near the gate to start a roof. The gate itself is about 5-6 tiles wide but about 1.5 x2 is used up by the supporting gate pillars. #6.Those gates are stupid for base defence because it destroys such a massive hole in your base with just one gone. I have raided bases with behemoth gates as walls and then have free access to the whole place on a ptera. Mar 13, 2016 · Ok, so i know my base (complete metal) is standing in giga teritory, and i was thinking about building a fence around it to store some larger dinos outside. Will a giga "see over" the normal stone behemoths and attack them? If needed i can build metal behemoths around the base, but obviously thats a lot more work to do. Thanks for responses 2.
