Never owned a disc mower before, always used a swather or sickle bar. From what I gather disc mower is the way to go for my needs, the question is which one? Looking at a New Holland 616 and John Deere 260 both going for $4,500 at local dealers. Plan to pull it with our Ford 5610 that makes about 62 PTO HP. Any thoughts?
