I would recommend just getting more talismans and fairy souls, levelling your skills and potentially getting better armour. Eventually, try upgrading to the aotd and then a Flower of Truth (when you can afford it).

Enchant it with the usual sword enchants (you won’t need things like cubism or impaling if you’re gonna be grinding zealots) Get all fairysouls if you haven’t already. Use crit/str pots if you still don’t do enough dmg.
