Posted on September 11, 2023 With Week 2 of the college football season officially in the books, the Big 12 Conference announced four players that would be taking home the second iteration of the Big 12 Football Weekly Awards for the 2023 season.Texas guard Sir’Jabari Rice was named the Big 12 Newcomer of the Week. Adams and Rice won their first Big 12 weekly honors. Kansas is No. 2 in the country, while Texas is No. 7. Adams scored a career-high 22 points in the Jayhawks’ comeback win over Oklahoma, 79-75, on Tuesday.
